Toast and Ki Ora NZ are committed to creating a culturally safe and inclusive environment for Māori to fully participate and engage in current activities and new initiatives. The Treaty of Waitangi guides our practice by honouring the histories, cultures, languages and traditions when interacting with Tangata whenua. This creative collaboration ensures Māori businesses are considered and included in the development of new or existing work programs and participating in the partnership.
Toast works towards pathways working with Māori businesses to be included within its procurement processes and platforms protecting the cultural validity of our services are Tika (responsible and accountable to what we say and do), Pono (done honestly with integrity) and with Aroha (with empathy, generosity and compassion).
