Megafloor, by Polished Concrete, is a range of exceptional diamond polished floor finishes, designed and developed in New Zealand, for New Zealand conditions.
Polished Concrete has been a loyal Toast client for over a decade, so when they wanted to launch the new Megafloor product to market, they came to us, knowing that we could help them communicate this new product to the market in a way that represents everything they stand for: form, function, and fashion.
Polished Concrete's brief was clear: create a brand for the Megafloor product that reflects a new standard for polished concrete floor finishes.
Polished Concrete wanted to make sure that the Megafloor brand fits well with the the main Polished Concrete (PCL) brand, as well as their other sub-brands: Mega Diamond Tools (MDT) and Mega Innovation (MI).
To do this, we used a consistent colour palette for the brand family, as well as logos that complement each other, while still clearly communicating the distinct brand message of each sub-brand.
To ensure we developed a brand identity that clearly communicates the Megafloor value proposition, we took the time to talk with the client in order to gain a clear understanding of the work they do and the benefits of their products and services.
We pulled together elements related to the use of technology, the scale of their capability, and their product offer to develop a brand identity that is both appealing and unambiguous to the target audience, while also allowing them to transcend their competitors.
Polished Concrete made use of our comprehensive full branding package and asked us to design everything from their vehicle and office signage, to product labels and display stands. We also developed their fantastic new website which beautifully displays their stunning range and includes integration with masterspec.
The point-of-sale brochures we designed for Megafloor support the consistent brand message of an exceptional product, with clever reptition of the diamond shape and PCL logo graphic throughout.
This same design feel was carried through to all touch points, from the Megafloor website to their permanent exhibition stand, and product labels. It even included a high-end business card design with spot UV over a matt laminate finish.
No brand is complete without a set of incredible icons! We developed a range of brand-consistent, clear icons for Polished Concrete to use across all their brand touchpoints.
Much more than just web, we developed dynamic digital solutions for Polished Concrete to allow them to easily and effectively communicate with their target audience. The Megafloor website was built using the flexible and SEO-friendly Silverstripe framework, allowing Polished Concrete to leverage the Silverstripe CMS to update their own web content on the fly.
To support their social media presence, we set up Polished Concrete with a DIY social media solution, with customised tile templates for their Megafloor Facebook and Instagram pages. This allows them to easily create and update their own social media content to showcase new products, news, and upcoming events or promotions.
